WHAT IS IT? Sharing platters, also known as sharing plates is a catering format where all dishes are served to guests directly at the party table on shared platters.
MORE POSSIBILITIES: A more personal solution than a buffet: more convenient for guests, no queues, and visually beautiful. Keep in mind that sharing platters require chefs on site, and the amount of food needs to be somewhat larger than for a buffet. It creates significantly more options than a buffet, as the chefs can also serve dishes that would not survive transport or standing ready for long. It is also a good fit when there is no room for a buffet table in the banquet hall, but there is a suitable side room where the chefs can work.
